  • CHANGING BELIEFS

     

    Children who believe their knowledge and abilities are able to change generally do better at school than those who think their intelligence is fixed. If children are taught to think of themselves as having changeable ability, their learning outcomes will improve and keep on improving. Many children who do poorly at school believe they are ‘dumb’ and can’t do anything about it, no matter how hard they try.
